COVID-19 Policy Updates

APRIL 1, 2020

Following recommended guidelines for reducing the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented the following policies, effective immediately:

  • For non-surgical, surgical/procedure or cosmetic appointments, we ask that the only the patient attend the appointment. If the patient requires assistance, one visitor over the age of 18 years old may accompany the patient.
  • Minor patients are to be accompanied by one legal guardian/parent to appointments. Unless being seen as a patient, visitors under the age of 18 will not be permitted, and this includes siblings.
  • Patients MUST call clinic when they arrive.
    • A series of questions including the following will be asked:
      • Do you have any of the following symptoms:
Fever, cough, sore throat, sneezing, shortness of breath?
      • Have you or any close contacts traveled in the past 14 days internationally or on any cruises?
      • Are any of your close contacts experiencing:
Fever, cough, sore throat, sneezing, shortness of breath?
    • All patients will stay in their cars until called by the clinic to advise that their room is ready. Patients are asked to keep phones close to receive our call to enter the building.
  • New patient paperwork will be brought to the patient’s car to be filled out if applicable.
  • All patients will have their temperature taken upon arrival.
  • Wait times may be longer due to this change in policies.

It is our goal with these enhanced policies to provide the safest environment for our patients and staff during this difficult time. If the patient is deemed unwell during our screening process, we will reschedule the appointment.

We are monitoring the CDC website and our state and local health department websites for the latest information. Based on continually changing information, as well as local, state and federal mandates – these policies may be subject to change with no advanced notice.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
